Addiction Counselor

Position Description:
We have one immediate opening for an addiction counselor who must be licensed through Kansas Behavioral Science Regulatory Board.
They will be required to;
Perform assessment and orientation of new patients through the intake process.
Complete individual treatment planning with patient input and consultation.
Provide and document addiction counseling to individuals and groups which is both educational and therapeutic.
Assure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding treatment.
Provide referrals where appropriate.
Provide education and advocacy on behalf of patients to public.
Typical shift will be approximately 5:00am to 1:30pm M-F, with 1 to 2 Saturday shifts per month which are 6:00am to 9:30am.

We aim to grow into one of the leading providers of behavioral healthcare serving Lawrence and the surrounding area.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
