Maxus Properties is seeking to hire a full time Maintenance Technician for Peppertree Apartments in Lawrence, KS.

DESCRIPTION:
Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician include:
Track and complete service requests on occupied and vacant apartments, office/clubhouse, and amenities.
Perform timely repairs including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, lighting, etc.
Preparing apartments for tour/next residents move in by conducting lock changes, move-out inspections, trash out, punch out, scheduling vendors where necessary.
Assist with property inspections including semi-annual, fire safety, pest control, etc.
Assist with controlling and reporting stock and inventory.
Safely use and perform periodic maintenance of tools and equipment (hammer, drill, saw, gauges, etc).
Complete any additional projects as requested under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent is required; current driver's license is required; 1 year of facility or property maintenance experience is required; HVAC certification is required; familiarity with Fair Housing and commitment to abiding by all Fair Housing regulations is required.
