Summary:
It is the responsibility of the maintenance technicians to respond quickly and efficiently to work orders and resident issues as well as complete make readies as scheduled in a timely manner As a technician, you will work closely with the residents and staff.
It is important to be a positive and professional face for the community and to be able to communicate in a team environment.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail oriented, self-motivated, hard-working, energetic and customer service oriented.
Must be able to work well in a fast-paced, team environment and be able to perform maintenance tasks independently.
Duties Include, but Not Limited To:
Responding to and completing work orders in a timely manner Completing make readies which may include general electrical, plumbing, appliance and/or carpentry knowledge (hanging blinds, repairing drywall, etc) Knowledge of general maintenance and repair Touch up painting On-call rotation required for emergencies, lock outs and snow removal (seasonal) Assisting with maintaining grounds on a daily basis and keeping the property trash free Communicate and support other maintenance staff as needed Delivery of notices from office to apartments Adhering to Fair Housing, OSHA and ADA standards Complying with all company policies and procedures Complying with all safety rules and policies Other duties as required Preferred
Qualifications:
2 years experience with general maintenance HVAC Certified Must supply own hand tools Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation Must be able to lift/carry ranging weights of 1-150 lbs (with assistance if needed) Must be able to pass background and criminal check, reference check www.
