Ensure you have access to a valid email address Qualified applicants will receive an invite to schedule an onsite interviewPost Offer Background Check and Drug Screen required Job SummaryResponsible for visually inspecting, monitoring the filling process, manually packing, and stacking finished product, and completing sanitation activities Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintain the 5's and GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices)Visually inspect and manually pack bags of product into boxesRecognize and report product quality issuesSet up scales for bag, bulk, and/or tote weightsWeigh one bag per caseUnderstand the information on the lead labelPallet stack as neededPour on reworkFill out all paperwork completely, accurately, and timely (including first case verifications, daily 5S paperwork, changeover/sanitation paperwork, etc.
)Cover bulk lines and recognize and report bad productClean and organize the packing area using approved chemicals and PPE as applicablePerform shut down, start up, and changeover proceduresRework product as neededUse pallet jacks Minimum QualificationsMust be at least 18 years of age at time of hire High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required1-month experience or training in related fieldAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to effectively present information to other employees.
Basic math skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Required Skills/Abilities.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations Physical Demands and Work EnvironmentFrequently required to stand and walk.
