This is a full-time on-site role in Lawrence, KS for an Assistant Office Manager.
The Assistant Office Manager will be responsible for providing accounting and administrative assistance, maintaining current account data/record-keeping, and providing bookkeeping and project support.
The Assistant Office Manager will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service, overseeing the day-to-day operations of our office and ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
### Duties May Include:
- Manage phone systems, including answering and directing calls - Perform clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents - Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed - Schedule management, including coordinating appointments and meetings - Assist with event planning and coordination - Oversee office maintenance and ensure a clean and organized work environment - Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages - Provide administrative support to staff as needed ###
Experience:
- Proven experience in office management or a similar role - Familiarity with phone etiquette and professional communication skills - Proficient in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks Online (preferred) - Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Experience in construction office management is a plus - Knowledge of file management systems and clerical procedures If you are a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills, we would love to hear from you.
