As a Leasing Associate, you are at the front line of our community and are responsible to make timely calculated decisions and take the actions necessary to achieve exceptionally high customer service, in addition, the desire to know our residents in an effort to understand their needs and expectations.
Our Leasing Associate works with our management team to identify ways to continually improve the living experience of our residents as well as the expectations of prospective residents.
Further, providing quality, value and exceptional service to our residents ensures that our company will continue to enjoy growth and success!The Leasing Associate is responsible for all activities related to apartment rentals, move-ins, lease renewals, including generating and handling traffic, leasing apartments, qualifying prospects, preparing lease documentation, and completing move-in procedures in accordance with established company and community policies and guidelines.
The Leasing Associate is also responsible for complying with all state, federal and/or local laws relating to Fair Housing.
Requirementso Proven closing/negotiating skillso Strong sales orientation both in person and phone saleso Strong communication skills both verbal & written, with the ability to talk in pictures.
o Great listening skills & creative problem solving abilitieso A proven background in prospectingo Proactive follow-up with prospective residentso Ability to work as part of a team, as well as individuallyo Previous leasing/sales experienceo Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize & multi tasko Marketing strategies and lease-up experience requiredo A high level of enthusiasm, as well as a high energy levelo Professional demeanor and ability to interact with all levels of peopleo Working knowledge of Social Mediao Microsoft Office product suite:
Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, Outlooko Ability to work weekends and some evenings.
