The William Allen White School of Journalism & Mass Communications is searching for a Director of Kansas Scholastic Press Association.
This is a full-time, Non-Tenure Track, Academic Year position with an anticipated start date of August 18, 2024.
This position is Limited Term with an initial appointment period of three years.
Appointment renewal will be based on a comprehensive review.
The Director of KSPA serves as an advocate and helps create positive visibility for scholastic journalism in Kansas and beyond.
The Director manages operations for the KSPA, and directs the annual summer Jayhawk Media Workshop.
This position will also have instructional responsibilities as a lecturer teaching two courses per semester during the academic year.
The Director of the Kansas Scholastic Press Association serves as a liaison between the School of Journalism & Mass Communications and KSPA.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
