The KU School of Business is seeking Lectures to teach in its undergraduate professional preparation program, e-Program.
The e-Program course work is a series of six, 1-credit courses focused on career and professional excellence.
Coursework includes:
BUS 110:
Introduction to Professionalism - Laying the groundwork for personal and professional development.
BUS 120:
Emerging Topics in Business - Gain exposure to cutting edge topics, trends and technologies.
BUS 210:
Career Management and PlanningBUS 230:
Introduction to Professions in BusinessBUS 310:
Internships with Impact - Students apply skills as they navigate a professional-level internship.
BUS 410:
Professionalism Capstone - Prepare for successful transition to life after college.
Applicants should detail in their cover letter their preferred courses for teaching and demonstrate their qualifications for those courses based on their experience.
Lecturers in the School of Business may be part-time or full-time faculty, with their FTE determined by their course load.
These non-tenure track positions are benefits eligible at.
48 FTE or higher.
Applications will be accepted throughout the year.
Appointments are one semester, renewable, subject to review and funding.
The successful candidate must have appropriate authorization to work in the U.
S.
before employment begins.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
