Community Wellness Liaison

As a Community Liaison, you will be responsible for creating and implementing wellness programs and initiatives for our aging population and our community.
The Community Wellness Liaison will promote the mission, needs and activities of the agency for the purpose of developing and promoting, maintaining and enhancing business and philanthropic relationships.
Job Duties Identifies needs for a comprehensive wellness program in the community.
Coordinates, plans and facilitates health and fitness activities and programs for facilities.
Establish and maintain relationships with facilities.
Keep abreast of current wellness initiatives and activities.
Plans and implements classes, speakers, and fitness to promote healthy lifestyles.
Assist with development and promotion of wellness and fitness programs.
Compiles statistical summaries of participant data and class attendance.
Assists the Business Development Manager in the development of budget, policies and procedures relevant to wellness programs.
Provides educational presentations and training programs.
Work with Wellness Committee to increase employee engagement and assist with implementation and communication of initiatives Maintain skills through attendance at Annual Skills Fair or other continuing education opportunities.
Participate in special projects and perform other duties as requested.
Keep a daily record of time worked per agency policies.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in health, exercise or wellness promotion Knowledge of health and wellness topics for aging populations Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
