As a Program Assistant, you will play a crucial role in SupportEd's visibility, implementation, and expansion.
This position requires strong administrative skills, as well as the ability to manage social media platforms and assist with program recruitment and coordination.
Responsibilities include assisting in overseeing our AmeriCorps program; recruiting, onboarding, training, and supervising AmeriCorps members, maintaining records and documentation, monitoring intervention implementation, marketing, and supporting staff, clients, and stakeholders.
Duties:
Volunteer & AmeriCorps Member Management:
Assist with program recruitment efforts, including outreach to potential participants and volunteers.
Assist with volunteer and AmeriCorps member management, including recruitment, training, and recognition.
Program Delivery:
Support program evaluation and data collection efforts.
Provide administrative support, such as maintaining program files and AmeriCorps grant files, preparing reports, and managing correspondence.
Collaborate with team members to ensure effective program delivery.
Assist in the development and implementation of program activities and initiatives.
Communications:
Manage social media platforms to promote programs and engage with participants.
Represent the organization at community events and meetings.
Conduct public speaking engagements to promote programs and engage stakeholders.
Event Planning and Coordination:
Coordinate program logistics and events, including scheduling meetings, booking venues, and arranging transportation.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or relevant work experience.
Work experience must demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in social media management platforms Experience in program development and project management Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong leadership skills and ability to take initiative Experience in volunteer management is preferred Ability to speak publicly and engage with diverse audiences We offer competitive compensation packages based on qualifications and experience.
