The Registered Vascular Technologist provides comprehensive and intensive professional care to adult and geriatric patients. Collaborates with Physicians and staff to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for the patient. Performs vascular ultrasound procedures with direction from the physicians.

We're looking for you.
The Registered Vascular Technologist provides comprehensive and intensive professional care to adult and geriatric patients. Collaborates with Physicians and staff to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for the patient. Performs vascular ultrasound procedures with direction from the physicians.
Responsibilities
- Assesses patients' physical, emotional and social circumstances and makes decisions, interventions and referrals for the patient's well-being.
- Conducts assessment at admission and throughout the course of treatment.
- Collaborates with other clinical disciplines to ensure an appropriate interdisciplinary approach.
- Communicates information to others involved in care of the patients.
- Delivers education to patients and family.
- Performs patient examinations proficiently and safely.
- Maintains accurate patient records and documents pertinent data and patient information completely.
Qualifications
Required:
- Two years clinical experience in acute setting.
- Graduate of an accredited school of sonography.
- BLS certification.
- RVT registered.
Preferred:
- Prior sonography experience.
