o Assists maintenance manager in overseeing repairs and maintenance of equipment. Assigns work orders, ensuring that safety-related repairs and repairs affecting production are the highest priority. Assists maintenance associates with diagnosis and repairs, when necessary.
o Assists maintenance manager in managing the preventive maintenance program ensuring unscheduled equipment repairs are minimized, establishing preventative maintenance schedule, and ensuring that the schedule is adhered to.
o Assists with reviewing contractor candidates. Monitors contractors' adherence of top quality standards and completion of work in a timely and cost effective manner.
o Assists in hiring, training, evaluating and recommending pay increases for maintenance associates. When necessary, participates in disciplinary actions and recommends termination of employment when appropriate.
o Manages the acquisition of additional parts and ensures that spare parts inventory is maintained so that repairs can be completed in a timely manner and production downtime is minimized. In addition, ensures that inventories are controlled to have the least investment.
o Researches modifications and improvements to systems and makes recommendations accordingly.
o Oversees and ensures that building, grounds and equipment are cleaned. Oversees center's waste disposal program, ensuring that waste is disposed of according to how the facility is maintained.
o Interacts daily with all facility management associates to ensure maintenance needs are met and conducts tours daily to ensure that the condition of the facility is maintained.
o Ability to physically access all areas of working environment that he/she is responsible for to observe operations, observe associates, instruct in methods of operation, and assess needs.
o Flexibility to work variable shifts.
o Establishes sound process improvement initiatives that drive year over year improvement.
oStrong knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and procedures including best safety practices.
oKnowledge of and skilled in blue print reading.
oStrong knowledge of conveyor systems and their maintenance
oStrong knowledge of and skill in personal computers and engineering-related programs.
Education/Training
oHigh school diploma or equivalent required.
oBachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred Experience
oFive (5) years of maintenance and supervisory experience. Role specific abilities/skills
oAnalytical ability necessary to gather and interpret data, and develop, recommend, implement solutions.
oStrong management leadership, communication, organization and administrative skills.
This is a second shift positionEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
