Provider Resolution Specialist - Lawrence, KS

Position is primarily responsible for answering escalated claim adjustment requests and resolving issues received through transferred provider phone calls, customer service management and miscellaneous special project work. Job Responsibilities:
Uses numerous computer work station application to supply "live" responses to customers' needs
Assist in resolving serious customer complaints and escalated calls
Manages all issues to completion or refer outstanding customer queries to appropriate point of contact
Maintains an up-to-date level of product and procedural knowledge by being attention to and action upon information advised in email updates, team meetings, trainings and other briefings
Helps maintain a good team and working environment by assisting fellow employees and participating constructively in meetings
Identifies customer service needs of a customer and makes persuasive suggestions and recommendations that match the identified customer needs
Undertakes duties of a general nature or additional tasks as may be required from time to time
Logs, tracks and appropriately documents all issues utilizing online systems in accordance with all applicable guidelines, requirements and procedures Required Skills and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to pass a criminal background check
Must be eligible to work in the United States
Articulate speech, clear and well modulated speaking voice
Medical or healthcare insurance background a plus but not required
Must have excellent phone skills, customer service skills, analytical and troubleshooting experience
Superb listening, probing, negotiation and de-escalation skills needed
Musts be able to multi-task, handle escalated calls and upset customers in a professional and courteous manner
Ability to accommodate a flexible schedule as needed throughout the duration of employment
Computer skills with the ability to use numerous workstation applications at the same time and navigate various screens while employing customer satisfaction techniques
Typing test required

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
