The Administrative Assistant (Safety/Assets/Fleet) is responsible for providing administrative support for the Corporate Director of Safety/Assets for Bear Communications. Additionally, this positon provides administrative support for the management of the company's fleet of vehicles and worker comp issues.
Job Duties:
Responsible for administering vehicle insurance, employee uniforms, company cell phones and rosters.
Issues and tracks fuel cards, monitor for excessive use, unusual fuel purchase locations and report and provide monthly reports to managers regarding their staff's expenditures on fuel.
Responsible for invoicing coding company assets and vehicles.
Helps prepare financial, operational, maintenance and other reports.
Coordinates and assist project managers in obtaining operational and maintenance records, financial and cost data and performance criteria for individual assets.
Helps conducts monthly physical inventories of the assets and links to the asset lists and accounting records at the company's CPA Firm.
Assist in the development of short and long-term asset management.
Assists in investigating workers' compensation and long-term disability claims.
Assists with injury leave analysis

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
