POOL - Student Research Lab Asst Student Hourly/Work Study

## Job Description
Lab work involving cleaning and preparing concrete molds as well as preparing for and helping with concrete pours in the lab.
## Required Qualifications
1. Able to lift between 35-40 pounds without injury.
During the semester term of the appointment, the student hourly must be enrolled in no fewer than 6 credit hours. For summer periods the student hourly must: 1) have been enrolled in no less than 6 hours in the past spring semester or 2) be pre-enrolled in upcoming fall semester in no less than 6 hours or 3) be enrolled in summer session or 4) be admitted to study in the upcoming fall semester. Student Hourlies may be undergraduate or graduate students. (Exceptions granted for GRA/GTA/GA appointments DO NOT apply to Student Hourly appointments).
## Preferred Qualifications
1. One year prior experience in construction or related field.
2. Prior lab experience of at least six months.
3. Completion of a materials course similar to CE 412 (Structural Engineering Materials) or CE 484 (Materials for Transportation Facilities).

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
