POOL - Student Assistant, Business Law

## Position Overview
The KU School of Business has multiple Student Hourly positions available in the Business Law department for the academic year 2016-2017. In this position, the student hourly will provide teaching assistance to a Business Law instructor.
## Job Description
The KU School of Business is hiring for a student hourly position. Job duties include (but are not limited to): grading, working with students to enable their understanding of course material, monitoring class to prevent disruptions, and other duties as assigned.
## Required Qualifications
1. During the semester term of the appointment, the KU student hourly must be enrolled in no fewer than 6 credit hours. For summer periods the student hourly must: 1) have been enrolled in no less than 6 hours in the past spring semester or 2) be pre-enrolled in upcoming fall semester in no less than 6 hours or 3) be enrolled in summer session or 4) be admitted to study in the upcoming fall semester. Student Hourlies may be undergraduate or graduate students. (Exceptions granted for GRA/GTA/GA appointments DO NOT apply to Student Hourly appointments)
## Preferred Qualifications
1. Law School student at KU School of Law
2. GPA of 3.5 or higher

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
