Tutor - McNair Scholar

## Job Description
95% - Provide academic tutoring for McNair Scholars in various subjects and preparing for tutoring sessions.
5% - Documentation of tutoring sessions, monitor tutor progress and provide ongoing feedback to supervisor.
## Required Qualifications
1. KU student must be enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours each semester during the academic year. Enrollment of one credit hour during the summer session is required if the student was not enrolled the previous spring or is not pre-enrolled in the upcoming fall term.KU student must be enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours each semester during the academic year. 2. Must have 9-12 hours in subject area and a 3.0 GPA or higher.
## Preferred Qualifications
1. Have taken the subject area and earned an "A"
2. Have a strong faculty and supervisor recommendation.
3. Have previous teaching or tutoring experience.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
