POOL: MBSP Business Class Tutor

## Job Description
The KU School of Business is hiring for a student hourly position. Job duties include (but are not limited to): Provide ongoing tutoring with emphasis on assisting scholars in succeeding with business courses; coordinate tutoring schedule with scholars; communicate with MBSP (Multicultural Business Scholars Program) office if any concerns arise.
## Required Qualifications
1. A grade of B+ or better in course tutoring
2. During the semester term of the appointment, the KU student hourly must be enrolled in no fewer than 6 credit hours. For summer periods the student hourly must: 1) have been enrolled in no less than 6 hours in the past spring semester or 2) be pre-enrolled in upcoming fall semester in no less than 6 hours or 3) be enrolled in summer session or 4) be admitted to study in the upcoming fall semester. Student Hourlies may be undergraduate or graduate students. (Exceptions granted for GRA/GTA/GA appointments DO NOT apply to Student Hourly appointments)
## Preferred Qualifications
1. Business School student
2. Prior tutoring experience, MBSP scholar or alumni
3. Grade of A- or better in the course tutoring

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
