Responsibilities Primary Function:
This is a key technical support position with opportunity for training, development, and career growth. This position will provide technical, hands-on engineering support for automation and production equipment and other assigned projects.
Responsibilities:

Provide technical assistance to support the production departments. Support the maintenance and development of new tooling, machines, and high speed production equipment. Optimize machine and process efficiencies. Identify improvement opportunities in the Molding department and work to implement them. Support new projects and make recommendations regarding new technology to improve product quality and productivity. This may include fiber optics, controls, PLC's, vision system, drives, and robotics. Provide mechanical support, including but not limited to, assembly, disassembly, and rebuild of automated systems. Coordinate all aspects of projects pertaining to the technical activities on assigned projects. Acquire quotes from vendors on new equipment or modifications to existing processing equipment. Determine costs on new and proprietary projects, and manage the spending throughout the project. Prepare all necessary documents for capital expenditure requests. Coordinate the construction of new production equipment and any accessory equipment necessary for projects. Oversee the commissioning of new production equipment and process, including training for the production personnel. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications Requirements and
Experience:
Must perform all duties in a safe and effective manner. Prefer Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience. 5 years of experience in Industrial Maintenance/Engineering. CAD experience (preferably SolidWorks and/or AutoCad). Strong analytical skills and organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously. Able to communicate effectively both written and verbally. Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated leadership ability.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Industrial EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
